Cramlington Learning Village are looking to appoint a hard-working, flexible and enthusiastic person to provide a caretaking service, ensuring a warm, clean and secure environment for all site users. We are looking for someone that can be flexible and proactive, have good communication skills and an understanding of the health and safety requirements.
The main duties will include ensuring the security of the buildings and premises, cleaning of designated areas of the school and working with school staff to ensure the school environment is clean and safe for everyone. The appointed person/s will undertake semi-skilled general maintenance and repairs in addition to general caretaking duties and complete other tasks, as set out in the job description. They will also undertake first aider duties.
Cramlington Learning Village is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this post.
