Permanent position

Required for September 2021

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to manage the development of the business and finance area within Boldon School. The business and finance manager will report directly to the Head Teacher and be responsible for key business and financial matters.

Boldon School is an 11-16 secondary school and was recently awarded a Good grade in our 2019 Ofsted inspection. The school roll has increased dramatically over the last few years and this has led to a much stronger financial position. The ideal candidate will be proactive, inspirational and have excellent organisational and person skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
