Further Information
We are looking for a talented individual with experience of providing a high-quality counselling service to students experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties. You will also provide support, guidance and advice to parents, carers and other staff members within the school. You will contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of students.
Candidates must have:

Diploma in Counselling or equivalent
5 GCSEs including English and Maths at A*-C, or equivalent
Recent experience of working as a Counsellor within a school or other organisation with young people of the relevant age
Experience of providing emotional support to young people
Experience of child protection procedures and commitment to safeguarding pupils
An understanding of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues of young people.

This post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only over 195 days.
