Team Around the Community County Wide Youth Worker

Temporary for 1 year

Team Around the Community (TAC) is a small team of youth workers who work within communities where there are concerns about young people engaging in either anti-social and/or risk-taking behaviour, with a view to supporting those young people to choose healthier and safer lifestyles.

The successful post holder will manage the TAC programme; they will line manage 2 Worker in Charge posts and have oversight of the sessional staff who will deliver the detached sessions.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering on the targeted group work programme, working with young people identified as being involved in ASB, completing home visits and liaising with partners such as the Anti-Social Behaviour Team, Youth Justice Service and the Police, as well as evidencing outcomes and reporting on performance.

The post will require working 3 evening sessions a week on an ongoing basis.
