Term Time only + 1 week, 32 hours per week
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed (HLTA or Teaching Assistant) to work in our additionally resourced centre for children with Education, Health and Care Plans with a primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
The new centre is based in a brand new stand-alone building on the same site as Rise Carr College on Eldon Street in Darlington and will cater for 15 students across the secondary age range, split into Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 provision.
The post is required from September 2021 when our first children will also join the provision.
We will adopt a very much project-based learning approach and so we are looking for someone that can support the academic subjects, but also with a creative flair who enjoys a hands-on approach to learning.
