We consider ourselves to be a professional, high performing, inclusive and innovative organisation which is well regarded by the communities we serve and the partner organisations with whom we collaborate.
As an apprentice in the FCR, you will play an important role in supporting the inspiring culture and high performance we strive towards for all our colleagues as well as developing your own skills and abilities. Successful applicants will be required to work towards the national apprenticeship standard, Emergency Service Contact Handling Level 3.
No formal qualifications are required to embark on this apprenticeship programme however candidates who have not already achieved English and Maths GCSE, or equivalent, at grade C/ level 4 or above, must achieve a Level 2 equivalent standard in both prior to the completion of year 1 of the Apprenticeship.

The successful candidates will be given the chance to experience all areas of the organisation gaining an insight into the Service’s statutory responsibilities and day to day operations.
