Independent Reviewing Officer/LADO
Children’s Standards Unit
It is an exciting time in the IRO service in South Tyneside as we continue to develop the service to meet the needs of children and families. You will be joining a committed team focused on the highest standards of practice.
The suitable candidate will need to hold a social work qualification, be registered with Social Work England and have significant post qualifying experience. Experience of chairing multi agency meetings, managing complex dynamics, conflict and challenge is a requirement. The ability to quickly analyse information and support a strength based approach in our work with families is essential.
Developing effective relationships with children, young people, their families and multi-agency partners to achieve sustainable outcomes is at the very heart of what we do.
