This is a great opportunity to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Effective Learning Team to deliver counselling support to young people in secondary and primary schools in order to promote wellbeing, achievement and resilience.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver effective therapeutic intervention and significant experience of counselling children and young people in schools. They will have a good knowledge of BACP Code of Ethics and have an understanding of mental health issues and factors affecting young people today, with particular knowledge and experience of working with children who are looked after.
Required qualifications: Diploma in Counselling or equivalent and a Professional Accreditation or actively working towards accreditation
The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
