Teaching Assistants – to commence 1st September 2021

Teaching Assistants (Band 5) SCP 5, £15,310.17 per annum (pro rata), 35 hours per week, term time only (190 days per year). Permanent and Fixed-term.

The school wish to appoint a number of highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Teaching Assistants to support the learning of pupils. These positions will be to commence on 1st September 2021.

Applicants will possess NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. The school is looking for applicants with excellent communication and ICT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and be able to follow teachers’ plans.

Candidates will have experience of working as a classroom or teaching assistant within a primary school environment. These posts will suit candidates with an interest in supporting children with their communication and language.

Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.

Some posts on offer will be permanent, others will be fixed-term linked to external funding.
