HLTA - TEACHING ASSISTANT/SEMH SPECIALISM

We are looking to appoint a hard-working, flexible and caring person who can work as part of a team to support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils with SEMH. This could be on an individual basis or as part of classroom support and could involve working with students in small groups. We are looking for someone who is trained or willing to become trained in this area as we wish to extend our team to support the emotional needs of our students.
Cramlington Learning Village was rated as Good in all categories in its recent Ofsted Inspection.
The successful applicant will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and be educated to ‘A’ Level standards or beyond. Experience of working with young people in the 11-18 age range would be advantageous.
