Tweedmouth Middle is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ mainstream school, catering for children from aged 9 – 13.
The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work across the school. Successful candidates will join an existing team of teaching assistants, led by the SENDCO, who are committed to raising standards, who provide highly effective teaching and learning support and are passionate about all pupils reaching their full potential.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be flexible, motivated, supportive and enthusiastic
• Have the skills and commitment to improve outcomes for all pupils in our school.
• Be able to work effectively with a team
• Be able to relate to a wide range of abilities
• Have a good standard of literacy and numeracy
• Be educated to at least level 2 or equivalent
Previous experience, although not essential, would be an advantage.
Permanent, Variable hours 10 to 35 per week, initially to start on 25.
