Further Information
Sport and Leisure are looking to recruit Casual Fitness Instructors to their establishment to work across our indoor sites. Contours is North Tyneside’s health and wellbeing membership package which currently allows our members full access to our 5 gyms, 4 pools, 2 health suites and over 500 classes including Les Mills virtual classes. The centres include Waves, Whitley Bay, Hadrian Leisure centre, Wallsend, The Lakeside centre, Killingworth, The Parks, North Shields and Tynemouth Pool.
The main duties are to provide the day-to-day operation of the Contours Fitness/Health Suite. This will include promotion of healthy lifestyle advice, personal fitness assessment, gym inductions and In-body assessments. Alongside this you will be expected to promote and support our sales and memberships processes. A high standard of cleaning is required in the gym and this will be part of the day-to-day duties along with equipment checks and looking after the health and safety of our users.
Applicants should have excellent customer care skills, use their initiative, provide an efficient and friendly service and be able to work as part of a team and on their own.
