Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated staff nurse to work as part of the multidisciplinary team; to provide a clinically effective, high quality service to the local school aged population.

As a staff nurse in the school nursing team you will deliver group based health promotion interventions and individual work with children, young people and their families to address local needs.

A registered general nurse qualification is essential and you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have experience of working with children and young people.

As part of the benefits package the Council will be able to offer NHS clinical nurses recruited to this post access to Council long service leave entitlements and Council occupational sickness payment scheme, where they have the relevant continuous service.
