The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage our Young Persons Support and Progression services on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The post holder will have responsibility for managing the frontline staff who deliver practical and emotional support to young people working closely with internal and external partners. This post will be delivering services to young people who are at risk of homelessness and who are leaving local authority care to support with resettlement and successful independent living.

The Person:
You will have a Social Work degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work (CQSW, CSS, DIPSW) and have an current registration with Social Work England (SWE).

You will have a strong track record of delivering outcomes and evidence relating to supported housing projects/dedicated pathways within a contractual arrangements defined by service specifications and requirements.

You will be highly motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills and with the ability to prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met.

As an inspirational leader, you will bring enthusiasm and a passionate drive to improve both our services and the lives of the young people who use them. You will need to be engaging, collaborative, and have a proven track record of achievement.
Engendering a strong team spirit, encouraging creativity and accountability that puts the customer at the heart of all that we do will be critical to success in the role. You will also be expected to have an excellent understanding of Safeguarding policy and arrangements for young people and vulnerable adults.
