Overall the service employs 130 care staff and 30 support services staff across the 5 sites. Our Homes accommodate 25 young people aged 6 - 17, our main aim is to offer an exceptional family focussed caring environment where children and young people can feel safe and excelled in their abilities and futures. The service is regularly inspected by Ofsted, currently our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good with outstanding leadership and management. It is crucial that everyone in our team is committed to the best safe care of our young people. The role The successful candidate will be educated to NVQ Level 2 - Food Preparation and Cooking, C&G 706/1&2 or equivalent and hold an advanced Food Safety Certificate with a knowledge of the range of tasks for the post together with the preparation of associated tools and equipment. You will lead and direct the work of the team to ensure standards are met and to ensure that the medical, cultural, religious and ethnic dietary needs of the young people are adequately met.
