Following the promotion of the previous post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen within Darlington Children’s Services Senior Leadership Team. Applications are invited to the post of Head of Service – Front Door and Early Intervention.
Reporting to the Assistant Director - Children's Services, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of a portfolio of services which includes the Childrens Front Door, Building Stronger Families Service, Young Persons Engagement and Justice Service, Keeping Families Together and Family Group Conferencing.
You will be a senior member of the Childrens Senior Leadership Team and you will work collaboratively with other Heads of Service to ensure the safe delivery of all statutory duties across Childrens Services.
Applications for this opportunity are invited from experienced social work managers, who will champion excellent relational practice, ensuring high standards are maintained. The successful candidate will be a qualified social worker with significant management experience and an inspiring leader with the ability to motivate and develop team members across complex integrated structures and partnerships.
You will have demonstrable knowledge and insight into our ongoing improvement journey and be inspired to lead services as we embark on the next phase of our improvement journey and build upon the progress made as part of our Strengthening Families Partnership Program.
