At Cleveland Police we are committed to providing the information technology needed to deliver the vision, from investigations, to supporting the public, and interacting with the Justice sector and other agency partners. A variety of digital channels will allow the public to communicate with us in new ways, to report crime and to carry out routine transactions.

To support this vision we are inviting applications for the post of Technical Business Analyst. You will establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives and be involved in:

• Defining strategies
• Validating and justifying business needs
• Conducting feasibility studies
• Producing high level and detailed business models
• Preparing business cases, as well as overseeing development and implementation of solutions
• Accounting for the implication of change on the organisation and all stakeholders

The post holder will be able to make a measurable impact on the organisation by delivering on the above matters, increasing the Forces effectiveness and efficiency.

We are seeking candidates who have significant experience of working within a technical department in an analysis role. You will be able to demonstrate that you have an excellent understanding of technology life cycles, as well as concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems. Candidates must display a dynamic approach as they will need to drive through changes and communicate effectively in order to lead presentations and workshops, and deliver information in relation to complex findings to a range of business users throughout the organisation including to the Executive management.
