We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our small HR team, working from our centrally located Head Office in Sunderland.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will operate in a generalist role, providing comprehensive expert HR advice to all employees and management covering all areas of the employee life-cycle including absence and performance management, employee relations and L&D. This is a truly varied role which combines a range of duties including day to day operational HR and supporting on various strategic HR projects.

To be successful you will have outstanding communication skills and work excellently in a team whilst having the confidence to manage your own workload. You must have up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law and a thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures. Previous experience of working in schools is desirable but not essential.
