Are you passionate about the subject of Maths? Are you an experienced Maths teacher or do you aspire to become one? Do you already hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards? If you answered yes to these questions, then we could be the perfect College for you.

We are seeking to appoint 2 outstanding Mathematics Lecturers to work at our Sunderland campus. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those with industry experience who are new to teaching and want to motivate and support young people after leaving school to achieve their GCSE or Functional Skills certificate and make positive progress.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellence in classroom management and individualised approaches to teaching, learning and assessment. You will be able to deploy practices within and out of the classroom that bring about positive progress for young people. You will be confident in using digital technology and work as part of a team to enhance sharing of resources and practices across the college. You will want to be part of our vision for excellence and be ambitious for the college and all students.

It goes without saying that you will already possess:

• A passion and enthusiasm to motivate our students.
• A degree in Mathematics or a subject that has a high mathematical content.
• Be able to demonstrate high standards in teaching, support for learning and assessment, prior to appointment.
