North Tyneside Council would like to hear from enthusiastic people with a can-do attitude who are eager to learn and develop.

As a Business Admin Apprentice, you will develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of administration. You will receive on-the-job and formal training in addition to learning workplace skills to gain both knowledge and understanding of the diverse services within our Housing Property and Construction Service.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues to provide an efficient and effective administrative support service.

The apprenticeship will be office based in one of our support teams within the Housing Property and Construction Team located at our Killingworth Site. You will focus on providing an administrative support service to include; data entry into the housing services bespoke Accuserv system, answering the phone, dealing with telephone calls both inward and outward bound and general admin duties, such as post, scanning, filing, maintaining records, organising meetings, maintaining systems and diaries and photocopying,

You will be part of a large specialist team supporting the delivery of a wide range of works, including working with sub-contractors and suppliers in addition to the tenants and residents of North Tyneside.

This apprenticeship is fixed term for 18 months.
