The Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) is seeking to recruit an experienced Energy Manager to lead the North East and Yorkshire Energy Hub.

The BEIS funded Energy Hub works across the North East and Yorkshire to scale up and accelerate energy projects. The Energy Hub has been operating for 2 years and is already supporting a pipeline of projects worth £310m across the North East Yorkshire and Humber, as well as managing a £52 million allocation from the Green Homes Grant Scheme (Local Authority Delivery 2). Energy Hubs are increasing being promoted as a delivery body for energy programmes and already manage the £10m rural communities energy fund.

This high-profile role will lead the operation and strategic direction of the Hub, to accelerate and effectively deliver this impressive pipeline of projects, to embed the Energy Hub within LEPs, to develop strategic relationships with delivery bodies and stakeholders, and to lead on discussions with BEIS to ensure the Energy Hubs are fit for purpose and have the resources available to them to be effective.

The appointed candidate would be expected to attend the TVCA office in Stockton-on-Tees when business requires, however applications from across the Energy Hub area will be considered.
