The Major and Minor Works Construction Team is responsible for the planning and delivery of a variety of construction projects including refurbishments, extensions and new build schemes as well as our ongoing painting program.
The role of the Contract Agent will be to manage and co-ordinate a range of works schemes covering all disciplines, as part of a team with a turnover of approximately £9m. You will be allocated individual construction projects to manage.
The service is looking for someone with Management experience of a wide range of construction projects with a track record of ensuring schemes are completed on time, on budget and to agreed client specification. You will also need to demonstrate strong Health and Safety skills and have experience reviewing Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
To be the successful applicant you will need to have a HNC in a construction related subject or extensive experience operating as a site number one, a valid CSCS card and driving license. .The role will be 37 hours per week Monday to Friday on a permanent basis.
