An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administration Apprentice to join the Finance team of County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service (CDDFRS).

As an apprentice in the Finance Team, you will play an important role in supporting the inspiring culture and high performance we strive towards for all our colleagues as well as developing your own skills and abilities. You will work alongside the Finance Section to ensure quality and consistency across all areas and the successful candidate will be working closely to provide a quality administrative provision with scope to learn aspects of finance.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education and be keen to develop within the finance area. They will work towards an apprenticeship in Business Administration to Level 3.
We are looking for individuals with good communication and IT skills. The ability to work flexibly and coherently as part of a team is a must, as is the ability to use your own initiative and work to deadlines.
In return the post offers 26 days annual leave (pro rata) rising to 31 days after 5 years, flexible working hours, provision of uniform, sports facilities, car parking and a pension scheme.
