You should have a good understanding of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017, issues surrounding homelessness and its prevention/ relief of homelessness, along with IT and case recording skills. You should be resilient, be able to solve problems, manage a caseload and meet deadlines as well as being able to work on your own initiative and as part of the team.

The successful candidate will need to be able to negotiate and communicate empathetically with people whilst being sensitive to different life experiences.

This role can be demanding but rewarding, providing a real opportunity to help people in need access the services they require.
