We are seeking to recruit Business Support Assistant (level 1) into our Day Service who can encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those requiring care and support.
Our Community Resource Service
Sunderland Care and Support’s Community Resource Centre provides day opportunities to young people and adults who have a range of learning and physical disabilities and Autism, who require differing levels of support to meet a range of social and sometimes complex health needs.
Day Services require a dynamic motivated Business Support Assistant with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Business Support Assistant (Level 1), your role will focus on receiving and directing telephone calls and enquiries. Welcoming customers, visitors, and contractors. The role of Business Support Assistant (level 1) includes accurate record keeping, data collection and recording of cash handling. As Business Support Assistant (level 1) you will ensure that visitors and contractors are aware of Covid-19 procedures and that all contractors are aware of the asbestos protocols and procedures upon arrival.
You will be expected to adhere to Sunderland Care and Support policies and procedures including all health and safety procedures and GDPR. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, families, professional and colleagues. You will be working as part of a large team in a busy environment.
You will be supported via Sunderland Care and Support’s induction, supervision, and appraisal processes.
