We are looking for an experienced officer to join the team, on a one year fixed term
contract, to assist with work associated with clients who approach the service having been subject to Domestic Abuse.
You should have experience in the implementation of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 which placed legal duties on local authorities, to ensure that everyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness has access to meaningful help, irrespective of their priority need status, as long as they are eligible for assistance.
With the introduction of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 all local authorities have new legal duties to meet. This post will contribute towards our plans to support those who are affected by Domestic Abuse.
You will ideally have experience within a housing and/ or support environment. With a customer focus and a drive for excellence, you will be able to use initiative to deliver a positive outcome for a customer.
