The Governing Body are looking to appoint an energetic and highly motivated individual with a strong desire and commitment to work in Alternative Education, within this new post as part of our recent staff restructure. The person appointed will join us at an exciting juncture on the school’s improvement journey; they will be a committed and enthusiastic team player and driven to raise standards.
Overall Objectives of the post:
• Organise and supervise administrative and finance systems within the school
• Contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services and / or management of administrative support staff, including coordination and delegation of relevant activities
• Be proactive in the vision and aims of the Beacon Centre
The successful applicants will:
• Be committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children
• Be passionate about education and committed to developing the potential of every child
• Have experience of SEND, inclusion and children with SEMH
• Be approachable and always willing to turn their hand to something new
Evidence of good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills is essential. A willingness to work across both school sites and undertake further training and development would be an advantage.
The Beacon Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit which educates pupils from KS1 to KS4.
