The Trust is seeking to appoint a Specialist Teaching Assistant for the Personalised Learning Centre and Choices room at North Durham Academy.

Specialist Personalised Learning Centre Teaching Assistant

Grade 2 - £17,842 per annum (which reflects actual salary)
37 Hours per week Term Time plus 5 additional days

The successful applicant will provide support to students within the Personalised Learning Centre (PLC) and Choices room. You will be responsible for a caseload of students who are accessing the PLC during structured or unstructured time.

We require a high-quality Teaching Assistant who has a ‘no excuses’ attitude to achievement. You should be compassionate and be able to deploy a wide range of interpersonal skills, together with strong behaviour management. It is essential you are able to work using your own initiative, under pressure to achieve quality work. You will be required to work flexibly according to the needs of the Academy.
