We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated solicitor or barrister to fill this permanent post leading the Children’s Social Care Team within Legal Services.

The Team deals with the full range of children’s social care matters, with the main element of work being care and placement proceedings but the Team also advises on fostering, adoption and other general children’s social care matters.

As Team Manager, you must have extensive recent experience of childcare matters. You will also ideally have recent experience of managing or supervising staff. You will lead, manage and encourage the Team to provide an efficient and cost-effective service.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners.
