An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced full time social worker to join a dedicated mental health team as part of the specialist services structure in Adult Social Care. This post will include working with service users during periods of transition from Children's Services, through to adulthood.
The successful candidate will benefit from a good balance of autonomy and support and will be responsible for the day to day management of caseload with regular supervision.
The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload and apply legal frameworks to interventions with individuals with complex mental health needs. One post will be based in the North area of Northumberland covering the Berwick area, the other post will be based in Alnwick. It is essential that candidates have a comprehensive understanding of local authority statutory duties as we are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of adults with primary mental health needs.
The salary for this post is £32910 - 36922
