We are seeking a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support the work of The Virtual School (HIVE Team).
This will involve working alongside our teachers to support care experienced pupils in a number of schools in North Tyneside. The role will involve working with children of both primary and secondary age and will include working with children with special educational needs. There will be a focus on supporting children and young people with Maths and English but also to help them manage better in a classroom setting alongside one of our teachers.
This is a Level 3 Apprenticeship so we are looking for someone who has already achieved a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject and who has already passed their Maths and English GCSEs / Functional Skills at Grade 4 or above / Level 2.
This apprenticeship is fixed term for 18 months, 37 hours per week.
