The Role: Fixed term for 1 year
Working as part of a small team you will assist in the delivery of financial accountancy services for the YHN Group, providing management reporting information, supporting treasury management and assisting in the production of the financial statements and year end audit.

As one of Corporate Accountants you will be responsible for the successful delivery of processes relating to:
• Fixed asset and balance sheet accounting
• Budget setting
• VAT and regulatory returns
• Group consolidation adjustments
• Cash and treasury management
for all YHN group companies and clients.

Due to a new company recently joining the YHN group, you will also support the Lead Corporate Accountant in further developing existing systems and procedures to accommodate this new addition; standardising reporting frameworks, establishing intragroup charges and ensuring consistency across the group with regards to financial controls and tax compliance.

The Person:
• Professionally qualified to Association of Accounting Technicians or equivalent and working towards professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
• Demonstrable experience of financial systems and management reporting, including the principles of consolidation
• Able to interpret, analyse and give financial advice on complex financial information and proposals
• Competent in the use of Excel at an advanced level for the provision of financial management information and its use in a wide variety of documents and reports
• Well organised and motivated, and able to work with business partners.
