The Governors of Benton Dene School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to join the Language and Communication Team, a local authority commissioned service.
The role involves working with individual pupils, primarily in mainstream key stages 2–4, with language and communication needs, including those with an autism spectrum diagnosis, and supporting schools in understanding and meeting the needs of referred pupils to promote progress and positive outcomes.
The successful candidate may be required to undertake specialist training to support their role.
The post will be permanent from 4th January 2022.
