Location: The East and West Locality Social Work Teams cover the whole of the Middlesbrough area. The service is very keen to promote flexible working for all staff. This includes agile working at home as well as other Middlesbrough Council bases.
We are delighted to announce several exciting opportunity has arisen in the East and West Locality Teams of Middlesbrough and we are looking to recruit SIX Social Workers for both permanent contracts. If you are you looking for a new challenge then apply for a social work position in one of our Locality Social Work Teams. We are currently seeking to recruit experienced or newly qualified Social Workers to join us as we add to our current workforce.
We work with vulnerable adults over 18 who have a diverse range of short and long term needs. Applicants with an interest in supporting people experiencing substance and alcohol use, domestic abuse and homelessness may find this particularly interesting along with supporting people who are on the Autistic Spectrum and people who need support with their physical and mental health.
Due to the varied nature of the team we are therefore looking for Social Workers who are adaptable and is able to work with a varied caseload.

Have effective assessment and care management skills
Be able to work in a busy environment and to tight time scales
Be committed to multi-disciplinary working
Be able to manage a varied caseload
