Portobello Primary School Governors are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate;
Excellent classroom practice, with high expectations and evidence of improving standards
Excellent behaviour management skills, with an understanding of individual needs and the ability to develop relationships based on respect
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive outlook and growth mindset value base
The ability and drive to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
An understanding of a range of special educational needs and recent experience in supporting learning
The desire to work with vulnerable pupils with a range of special educational needs
A commitment to the wider development of the school and community
The post will be full time (37 hrs per week, term time only) and be fixed term until 31st August 2022.
