The role…

We are recruiting for an Extra Care Manager to lead and manage Assisi House, an Extra Care housing facility for over 55-year-olds requiring care and support to promote independent living.

As Extra Care Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of care and overall management of the Extra Care Housing scheme.

Your key responsibilities will include all aspects of staff management and development, overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of care requirements, managing complaints, and acting as the safeguard lead.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the building is safe and managed in line with H&S regulatory requirements and you will work closely with colleagues to ensure tenancy agreements are in place and all landlord responsibilities are adhered to.

Who we are looking for…

Applicants will hold an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care and have proven management and practitioner experience in the adult care sector.

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a CQC regulated service along with a sound working knowledge of Safeguarding principles in the adult care sector.
