A primary school in North Tyneside is working with First Class Supply to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
You will provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil who is currently working below expectation, this particular child is on the autism spectrum, therefore experience of working with pupils with additional needs is essential.
To be successful in this role you must:
• have experience of working as a teaching assistant
• confidently work on a 1:1 basis with pupils
• be able to work independently using your initiative
• be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils
• have empathy, patience and understanding
• hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or education
• have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK school or education setting.
