Sunderland Council is looking for a versatile and proactive individual who is passionate to learn new skills and make a difference within Sunderland to support the delivery of the Neighbourhood Investment Plans.

The Area Support Assistant will undertake a varied range of duties within a busy and diverse service area, offering practical support to the Area Arrangements Team to deliver against agreed outcomes.

Responsibilities of the role include

•Resident Engagement
•Supporting local voluntary and community sector to attract funding and through the funding cycle
•Communicate on behalf of the service via social media, email and website
•Support budget monitoring, financial payments and administrative arrangements
•Support project monitoring including, case management of projects, data capture analysis, performance and funding management, using online platforms to ensure agreed outputs are delivered.
•Organisation and facilitation of meetings and events
•Be able to communicate easily and collaboratively work with elected members, senior officers and partners
