You will be required to design and develop high performing, usable and accessible websites and digital services that reflect user needs and requirements. You will deliver a consistent, accessible, usable and resilient user experience (UX) across all Council supported websites and digital services. You will also develop and deliver solutions for other Council services and priorities.

We are interested in people who:

• Have proven experience of UX design, standards and development for digital services, web applications and multiple corporate web sites including mobile sites and internal sites (intranets);
• Have experience of designing/developing front end systems/digital services;
• Have an in-depth knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS and Javascript;
• Have a creative design background;
• Have a sound understanding of the relationship between design, content and development within the web environment;
• Understand standards and best practices for design, delivery usability and accessibility e.g. Government Digital Service and WCAG and W3C.
