Are you good at Maths, English or Science? Do you have a good specific A level or a higher qualification in one of these subject areas? You may not have experience working in a school, but this could be your future career. This could be the job for you! We are looking for someone to support with intervention and small group work.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HLTA to join our organisation. Based in Houghton-le-Spring, Kepier is a large secondary Academy with ambitious plans for the future. The successful candidate will be hardworking, extremely organised with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills with a key focus on supporting the progress of learners to make good academic progress.
The post holder will be required to support teaching across the full age and ability range and, therefore, candidates must have good knowledge and understanding of their chosen subject at KS3 & KS4 level.
Your role will be wide ranging and the ability to prioritise workload, remain calm under pressure and maintain a good sense of humour is essential! A high degree of confidentiality is needed for this position.
