This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Sunderland’s housing team in a post that will provide a comprehensive service to the private rented housing sector.
We are looking for someone who can strengthen effective working relationships with private landlords and property owners. Who will encourage and promote landlord responsibilities and use their initiative to improve on best practice and implement innovative ideas across the sector.
Applicants will have:
• A thorough understanding of the private rented sector and of the roles and responsibilities of landlords and home owners.
• Sound knowledge of the part that the private sector plays within the local housing market, and the tools and powers available to use as defined by legislation.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
