North East Futures UTC is located in central Newcastle in the newly redeveloped Stephenson Quarter. The building replicates a business environment with state of the art facilities. All students at North East Futures UTC specialise in either Healthcare Science or Computer Science, at 14 they will also study a broad and balanced curriculum and at Post 16 the curriculum becomes more specialist A levels and Level 3 courses. At capacity, we will be educating 600 students who will all have a passion for our specialisms.
You will ensure our students are offered appropriate pastoral support and deal with and report on behaviour, attendance and the welfare of students. The role will involve providing support to and addressing the needs of students who experience emotional, social or behavioural challenges, maintaining a positive environment with high expectations of positive behaviour, attendance and attitudes to learning.
