Broomley and Whittonstall First Schools are proud to be part of the Tyne Community Learning Trust which comprises of six first schools, two middle schools and a high school, and we work closely with our partnership schools to provide the very best educational experience for all pupils.
Our schools are situated within the beautiful and much sought after residential area of the Tyne Valley. They are extremely conveniently located to the local cultural centres of Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham and enjoy close proximity to the popular, quiet villages of Riding Mill and Corbridge and also the historic market town of Hexham.
We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work across our schools to support pupils with SEND.
We are looking for a self-motivated, caring and dedicated adult who will take a proactive role in the support of the education and social and emotional needs of pupils with SEND.
The successful candidate will be reliable and adept at working with their own initiative. This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality. You will undertake a wide range of tasks to support children’s learning and must be approachable and sensitive to the needs of teachers and pupils, as well as being able to work flexibly in a busy classroom environment.
