Grade E - £22,777 - £24,054 + £1,401 pro rata to part time and term time only, actual part time salary £8,002 - £8,604 plus SSA £492 - £501 (depending on length of service).
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1st September to 31st August therefore, if you commence employment part way through the academic year they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.

The Head Teacher and Governors of Washingwell Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within our Year 6 class supporting a child with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). The role is to commence January 2023.

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:
has an outstanding record of working well within a team demonstrating a positive attitude, enthusiasm, dedication and commitment. 
has experience of working with children in a primary school setting, specifically with children with SEND
holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant / NVQ Qualification as a minimum essential requirement.

The successful candidate would be expected to:
provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Year 6
establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
contribute to the planning, preparation and resources of learning activities 
have a full working knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum
display excellent communication skills
