Further Information
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Early Help Service in Redcar and Cleveland Council for an Early Help Assessment and Intervention Team Manager who will be a key part of the Early Help Management team. The role will manage two distinct teams of Early Help Practitioners consisting of 3 locality-based Intervention teams who complete whole family assessments and follow the TAF process; and the ‘Early Help Assessment team’ of Early Help Coordinators, based within the front door to children’s services in our multi-agency children’s hub (MACH).

The post-holder will lead in embedding ‘whole family’ working and the TAF approach across the local authority and with partner agencies at an early help level, as well as managing the performance of both the Early Help Assessment and Intervention teams. You will be expected to drive forward service improvement and the Early Help strategic vision and priorities, including increasing the number of partner-led early help assessments and plans. Applicants who have significant experience in a family support or safeguarding role, with additional leadership and supervisory skills, are strongly encouraged to apply for this exciting, senior role within a very friendly and child-focussed service.
