We are seeking to appoint a Peatland Administration & Finance Officer for our North Pennines AONB Partnership team on a temporary basis until 31st March 2025.
 
You will provide administrative and financial management support to the delivery of the North Pennines AONB Partnership’s Peatland Programme. 
 
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Some of the duties of this role include, but aren’t limited to, are:
 
*To monitor expenditure against projects within the significant budget of the Peatland Programme, organise monthly budget meetings and to work closely with the Programme Manager.

*Supporting project and programme-level evaluation, including reporting to funders and the AONB Partnership.

*Assisting the Programme Manager to track the deliverables and milestones of the Peatland Programme

*To attend Advisory Board meetings and, when required, to report on activities to partners at these meetings.

*Ensure monthly procurement returns are completed in a timely manner and with all receipt documentation.

*Support the administration and financial activities of the North Pennines AONB Partnership’s Peatland Programme.

*Supporting colleagues through delivery of effective administration and financial management.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
Essential qualification for this post is an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or an equivalent relevant qualification.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
