The Headteacher and Governors of New York Primary School in North Tyneside are seeking to recruit a full-time teacher for Interventions and PPA across KS2, initially for a fixed term contract up to 31st  March 2024.

We look forward to appointing an engaging, enthusiastic, highly driven practitioner to our vibrant, welcoming, and happy school. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and will embrace the opportunity to work collaboratively, in a supportive environment, as part of our experienced team. In turn we offer a dedicated intervention space within KS2 with support and guidance from colleagues to ensure a speedy and established start.

Please include with your application a brief statement, 1 page (A4) of curricular strengths, how this would support pupil progress post COVID and what interests and experience you feel you would contribute to school. We are also interested in what subject area you could support throughout school.
 
Candidates should be able to:

?                   plan impactful interventions
?                  evaluate outcomes to determine next steps for pupil learning
?                  make a positive difference to our pupils
 As this role works across the key stage, candidates must be highly organised and adaptable. Time management is an essential skill in this role, ensuring that learning time is maximised to ensure progress.
