The Board of Directors is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified / experienced person to take on the role of MCLT Trust Partnership and Development Officer.

Middlesbrough Co-operative Learning Trust was incorporated on 1 September 2014 and is the Foundation Trust for two Primary Schools (Berwick Hills Primary School and Newport Primary School).

The MCLT Trust Partnership and Development Officer will work with the Board of Directors and its Schools to develop innovative partnerships and build and sustain collaborative relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

To support the growth and development the Trust you will enhance the work of the Trust through identification and facilitation of projects to improve outcomes for children and to increase capacity in the trust.

The directors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and outstanding individual who:

• can develop external relationships to support the Trust’s vison, values and ambitions.
• establish and maintain effective partnerships with other organisations with a view to increasing the number of formal partners of the Trust.
• is able to seek sponsors and funding to support the trusts activities.
• has the ability to explore new ways of working that enhance and develop the activities of the trust.
• has knowledge of organisation development, ideally with partnership and networking experience.
• is confident and proficient at representing Middlesbrough Co-operative Learning Trust to a wide range of stakeholders.
• possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including PR, and is always professional.
• is able to work systematically, is self-motivated and able to prioritise their own workload and deadlines.

Hours / days of work to be negotiated. This post is suitable for hybrid working, i.e remote working. Please note the appointment will be made by Newport Primary School on behalf of Middlesbrough Co-operative Learning Trust.
