An opportunity has arisen for a Structures Engineer to assist in the management of the Council’s bridge and structures assets and delivery of the programme of asset improvement schemes.
As a Structures Engineer, you will play a vital role in implementing and delivering on the Council’s Highway Infrastructure Asset Management Policy and Strategy with a particular focus on its bridges and other associated structural assets such as culverts and retaining walls across the Borough.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as contractors, utility companies, emergency services and the public, you will deliver high-quality services and maintain customer satisfaction across the Borough.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work a percentage of their working time away from the office.
