Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state of the art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate Year 7 school.
Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. This is a great time to join our school.
We wish to appoint two positive, proactive and professional colleagues to the role of cover supervisor. The primary role will be to supervise lessons when a teacher is absent. Work will be set by the teacher and your role will be to ensure that pupils remain on task, complete the work and to maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom. This post will involve working with groups of pupils or individuals and experience of working in schools or with young people of secondary age would be a distinct advantage.
This post is ideal for graduates thinking of entering the teaching profession and the school plays a key part in teacher training and development alongside our training partners in Stockton.
